Software offers include off-the-shelf implementations for all major operating systems like Windows, Linux/Unix, and Macintosh, as well as for several DSP platforms. Furthermore, Fixed-point Firmware Reference (FFR) source code packages are available. Coding Technologies also offers an easy-to-use certification process and a license to the aacPlus brand.

Patent license programs for MPEG-4 aacPlus v1 (High Efficiency AAC Profile) and Digital Radio Mondiale are available through Via Licensing.

Use of the Parametric Stereo (PS) technology, e.g. in aacPlus v2, requires a license to patents owned by Coding Technologies and Philips, which is available through Coding Technologies.
